Branding/Identity, Packaging for Cakesmiths
About the Client:
Created by young British food wholesaler, Barcake, Cakesmiths is a new concept, designed to take the business in a different, more 'artisan' direction, offering a range of high quality, gourmet tray bakes to cafés, restaurants and the catering trade.
The brief was to develop a brand identity to convey this 'hand-wrought', 'artisan' feel, whilst working the design into sleeve and shipping box packaging. We created a raft of designs, with the final logo design being augmented on packaging with a 'coffee and tea utensils' design for the inside of boxes, plus a 'ribbon wrapped' sleeve for the traybakes. The design was then used in a highly successful website.
